What the best way to deal with acidity?

Answer:
do you mean like acidity in your stomach?
take um antacid calcium tablets
they taste really bad, kinda like chalk
but they neutralize the PH levels in your system.hope it helps%26lt;3
Baking Soda 1 teaspoon in a small glass of water will get rid of an acidity stomach. It doesn't taste so good, but it works like a charm every time.
jus take one pill of 'omeprazole'. it is a drug tat blocks acid secretion in ur stomach. antacids aren't very effectiveif this is happening regularly with 'heart burn', u nned 2 see the doc coz u hav something known as GERD (gastro esophageal reflux disease)
Well you have options. There is several different way to help/ deal with GERD (gastro esophageal reflux disease). OTC (over the counter);
tums: will help but only for a little while
rolaids: same as tums but it will last longer
pepcid ac: good but it doesn't go into work for about a half an hour
pepcid ac chewables: works everytime and quickly to, also they don't taste that bad either
prilosec OTC: good one but it take to long
zantac: this will work only if you are taking it on a reg basis
omeprazole: this is a generic for the medication of prevacid, this will help with all the stomach acid to not get all wacked out
prevacid: does just the same as the chemically equivlent to the genric omeprazole.
nexium: this is very expensive
protonix: even more expensive then the nexium You make your choice. I will let you know pepcid ac chewable will do the best for you.
The naturopathic theory behind a proper dietary acid/alkaline balance is that because our body's blood pH is slightly alkaline, with a normal range of 7.36-7.44, our diet should reflect this preference and tend more towards alkaline foods. An imbalanced, acidic diet high in animal protein, sugar, caffeine and processed foods tends to disrupt this pH balance.
This deprives the body of alkaline minerals such as sodium, potassium, magnesium and calcium and leaves us prone to chronic and degenerative diseases.Diet to follow -
Foods that leave an acidic ash after being metabolized include proteins, starches, alcohol and sugar. When these types of food are avoided, the tissues become more alkaline. An alkaline diet is composed of approximately 75% alkaline foods and 25% acid foods.
if you are trying to reduce your bodies acidity the only quick way to do this is baking soda in water. Changing your diet will reduce acidity also though much slower. though you MUST NOT take baking soda and water before or after a meal. it will reduce the acid in your stomach as well and cause you to be unable to digest your food.
