What vitamin supplement is recommended for a 40 yr. old female?

Answer:
Iron if you're still menstruating, B vitamins to help you deal with stress, calcium ( unless you have kidney stones) and magnesium citrate in liquid form to help you sleep better and avoid muscle cramps. It wouldn't hurt to take a probiotic daily or every other day to keep your digestive tract functioning.Vitamin E 400.IU if you're feeling tired or have dry skin.Soy foods as opposed to soy supplements if you're having any hot flashes or mood swings. This ought to get you started for now. You wrote in the part for HIV, you might want to consider getting acupuncture to help with that.It will have a stronger impact than supplements alone.
Usually none. Eat a balanced diet .
Anything to strengthen your immune system. Look at these...they are broken down in to sections...there is one for immune system. www.nowfoods.com (my doc replaces his brand with these and you can find them all over!)And, unfortunately.thanks to 70 percent of our food being processed, it's a minority that can actually get all the nutrients one needs from food.Good Luck! :)also read around www.curezone.com...I think there is a forum or 2 in there that could help you as well!
Regardless of HIV, you need to take 1200 mg of calcium daily along with about 600 IU of vitamin D. I recommend calcium citrate/D the type found in products like citracal. You can also get the generic form at Walgreens, costco, sams... This will help keep you from getting osteoporosis later in life.

  1. Well,

Vitamin A is responsible for our beautiful skin and good eyesight. It helps our eyes see sharply and witness the colors of the world. You get Vitamin A from eating a lot of fruits and vegetables. Vitamin C is the one which will protect us even from the A H1N1 virus. This is the one that keeps our immune system on red alert to keep the battle against harmful bacteria and viruses. It is responsible for the quick recovery of our wounds.
