What is the safest water to drink?

I live in Philadelphia and I worry about drinking the tap water.I used to think buying bottled Spring water was best. Then, a nutritionist encouraged me to drink Steam Distilled water. Now I hear that distilled has no minerals in it, so it will look for, and zap the minerals that are in your body? I'm afraid to drink tap water. Thanks!

Hi precious Bunny, there is no life without water, but water in its raw state is not suitable for drinking. It contains numerous contaminants, which can be dangerous to human health.Finding a good source of water is hard these days and requires the use of filtration units. Research has shown that most tap and well waters in the U.S. are not safe because of heavy industrial and environmental pollution. Not only is drinking pure water important but also showering in pure water is equally important. The skins absorbs through osmosis whatever it comes in contact with be it petroleum based lotions, soaps, or chemical based perfumes. Also, showering in chlorinated or fluoridated water is as dangerous as drinking it. A 15 minute hot steamy shower in contaminated water is equivalent to drinking 8 glasses of contaminated water because of the vapors that are inhaled.Drinking filtered water is one of the most important factors in good health . Water filter units are also very economical and save a lot of money as compared to buying bottled water. It is very easy to buy your own bottle to take filtered water made conveniently in your home to work with you or wherever you go. Investing in a water filter unit is one of the best investments you can make in your health and the health of your family.

spring water. its all natural
The safest water to drink is filtered tap water. Buy a Brita or Pur filtration system. We just use a Brita pitcher. Spring water and other bottled waters are not necessarily filtered. They may even just be the tap water from the town it is bottled in. Distilled water does not contain vital minerals and is not advisable either.
one time, i watched an educational program on pbs about best ice cream in the usa. the number one ice cream and ice cream parlor was in downtown philly. the interviewer asked what drinks they serve, and the manager just said tapwater. supposedly the interviwer took a sip and said it was the best water he had ever tasted- it may have been played for advertising. but it looked delicious! otherwise, id mix distilled with bottled if you are afraid of tapwater
Filtered water. I use a Berkey water filter. It does an excellent job. Google it.
It is true that distilled water has no minerals in it. Typically, distilled water is what you want to drink when you are sick or need to detox, as it purifies your body.
Ive been using distilled on and off for years. No inorganic minerals, heavy metals, bacteria, viruses, chlorine or flouride. Mines ozonated for added oxygen content and for bottle sterilization purposes. It will leach inorganic minerals out of your body which are useless to us. Plants, thru photosynthesis, can only break down inorganic minerals to organic, which we consume as fruits, vegs, herbs, etc. Your organic minerals will be fine as they are already assimilated into muscle, flesh, organs, etc.I hate to drink tap water as well. When I HAVE to, its very little.Theres a new water distilling machine for sale on the infomercials late at night. It provides distilled water from tap. Im getting one! I forget the name ...sorry.
