What a crock. This is what I do--investigate and research what's going on at the FDA. (No, I don NOT work for them). Let me tell you why this is happening. Because 99% of all manufacturers of these herbs, vitamins, supplements, juices, etc. claim that they will treat and cure all kinds of diseases. From cancer, diabetes, impotence, pain, weight loss, cholesterol, and on and on. And that makes them a DRUG. And they are all LIES. So, to protect consumers, they will now have to do clinical trials on these products and present the information to the FDA before they can be approved for sale. That way, they cannot sell products and say they the treat or cure anything that is not in their clinical paperwork. It's about time. People have been able to sell this stuff without FDA approval. Anyone could just mix up a vitamin or two, a little juice, another herb--anyone of these unapproved products and sell it. So many people have been injured and died because of this.
When these products are approved, you will still be able to buy them off the shelf--just like now. So don't get all excited and think that the FDA is scamming you. That guy's blog is ridiculous.
Not everything is black and white. Newstarget tends to sensationalize the issues they're passionate about. I suggest you read the FDA guidelines yourself, otherwise you're just listening to someone else's spin.
This is a good thing. Some people think because it's all natural it's OK but plenty of natural things have irritants or even poision.
Simple. Natural products don't work the same with everybody, some people might get better while others may remain the same. That is not the case with drugs, even if it harms something else like it always happens with the side effects, yet it will work with everybody the same. To say that a natural product will cure you is wrong because even though it could, is not 100% sure. So, it would be sad to give hope to a person of something that is not truth. Just look at vitamin C, is not approved by the FDA, and it will never be, yet is recommended as a good source to help you with your immune system. Look at transfer factor testimony, is the third biggest discovery in the last decades and because is natural it will never be approved by the FDA. Anyway, with a better health people will get sick less and that is not good for the trillion dollar industry of the pharmacy who search for the treatment of the symptom rather than the cure itself. I used to get sick all the time and since I am using Transfer Factor Plus, in a year I got sick only twice, so I will be more concern in drinking those drugs which do more bad than good. There is no money in it for the government, a lot of it you can grow, and if you are cured, the pharmaceutical companies can't keep you coming back with your money for a temporary fix, time after time.
And yes they knew we would find out, that's why they say it must be regulated by them.
Oh Heck -because instead of doing their real job-they have to stick their noses in something else------how many times have drugs been recalled after people have died been paralyzed -etc etc =AFTER they had approved other drugs-it-if they paid attention more to their real job maybe this would happen less
The FDA is being pressured by the pharmaceutical companies and also funded by them. There's a lot of money to be made and the drug companies are trying to corner the market. Money talks.

This is why. People can almost grow their remedies in their backyards but the FDA won't be able to control that or be funded by that!It's like smoking. I'm a non smoker but have you noticed how many drugs they sell to "help" people quit, and they ban you from doing it in all sorts of places but they still sell them!
