As retalin is an activator medicine, why it uses for extra active childrens?

While in adults Ritalin acts as a stimulant, in over active children it for some reason has the opposite, a a calming affect.
seems people dont want to feed the kids good food and a balanced diet, drugs is needed, and schools ar getting a five hundred dollar kickback from the drug people per child on ritlin and people are not punishing their kids to teach them disapline, so they have to drug them up

the PC incorrect answer is because the lawyers stick their body parts in school so they can't do what they need- like play outside. parents buy into the need to have too much of stuff so they don't work with their kids. it is easier for society to medicate children than 'really' look for the causes.
growing up in the 60's we had drugs but not from school nurses. we had real food not chemically manufacture chicken and stuff.
heck we didn't even have'PEANUT ALLERGIES". we had real food.
