If you say it's because a lot of kids abuse the drug, then why is any perscription drug legal? Lot's of kids abuse perscription drugs. And lot's of kids abuse illegal drugs... Why can't doctors perscribe it to people who could benefit from it's use during counseling sessions in a controlled environment?

It already is... sort of. Prozac works in a similar way to MDMA and is chemically very similar.MDMA creates the production of serotonin in the brain. Prozac prevents the absorbtion of serotonin in the brain. Both drugs work on increasing serotonin levels in the brain.When the pharmaceutical companies came to test the drugs they chose to spend their millions on testing Prozac. They could have just as easily spent their millions testing MDMA and this would be the new prozac.All it takes is a couple of hundred million dollars for testing, and any drug can become "legal".Warm Regards,

It is not that simple...First, we SELECT the children that will benefit with the use of stimulants in proper dose and proper time.Second, If some children "abuse" those drugs, well, that depends what you consider abuse...and how vicious are the so called "children"...
Yes it is legal, because its written in the Law, and LEGALLY authorized persons, with legal responsibility, (accountable to federal authorities for misprescriptions and possible misuse, if results from medical negligence), do perscribe and follow up such prescription.
In your perception...tell me..What kind of people can possibly benefit from MDMA as adults?.which?.. with what diagnosis, and what vigilance?.do you know them? in which cases?.
Do you really know what counselling sessions mean?

because the government said it was bad...and the government is always right.
I think MDMA it should be illegal but in the way pot is illegal in Canada.

This person asked a straight forward question, and instead of GIVING him ANY information or just shutting the hell up and not wasting everyone's time, you chose to ASK him questions he clearly would not have the answers to judging simply from the very question he asked.
