Whats the difference between oil of oregano and oregano LEAF oil...?

the leaf is much cheaper...do they have the same benefits?
Answer:
Oil of Oregano is originally made from the leaves and flowers of the wild oregano plant. Major ingredients in this healthy oil is Carvacrol and Thymol.Caravacrol is the most potent anti-bacterial and anti-fungal ingredient in Oil of Oregano.Thymol is also an anti-fungal with anti-septic properties. Thymol happens to be one of the ingredients found in Listerine mouthwash.Oil of Oregano also has Rosmarinic acid, a very potent antioxidant and anti-histamine.You also get Naringin, a chemical shown to inhibit cancer cell growth, lower cholesterol levels and and effective antioxidant.Learn more about the health benefits from ingredient in Oil of Oregano right here:

My understanding is that the oil is more potent. Are you using this as an anti-fugal, anti-biotic? A good place to go to ask for more info on this is a website called knowthecause.com. They have really good forumes there too.
I believe moonsing is correct.oil of oregano is more potent, and I know offhand the leaf oil tastes HORRIBLE. ( yes, much worse than the oil of oregano)
No, they don't have the same benefits, the more concentration the better and more expensive too.
