What's your favorite tea when you are sick with a cold?

Answer:
I work in the Coffee and Tea Industry. What I recommend for a cold is what is commonly referred to as a Medicine Pack. It's one part Ginseng Peppermint Tea, one part Lemon Chamomile Tea. In my experience, several first-hand accounts have proved it's ability to respond to colds. Other than that combination, or any other herbal-type teas, I would recommend a green tea. The compounds in various green teas have been found to possess several healing properties. The nice thing about a true herbal tea, is that is contains no caffeine, which is an intake you should limit when sick. Contrary to common belief, green tea does have more caffeine than black tea, but the tannic acid compounds essentially time-release the caffeine into the body. This makes the effect on the body more subtle and smoother, as opposed to black teas (i.e. Earl Grey). The caffeine in black teas enter the bloodstream right away, much like drinking coffee or soda.
Malaysian Boh or lipton tea with a teaspoon of honey and halh a lemon squeeze in it.
earl grey!
a tea from "bija healing teas" it's called 'cold snap' my second favorite one is echinacea elderberry. Other than herbal teas I really do like a nice cup of red rose orange pekoe.
ginger tea.
Rosehips Tea!! Its the richest natural source of vitamin C and being that its in a liquid therefore easily assimilable (absorbed by the body). Rose hips vitamin C contains bioflavonoids and other enzymes that help the C to assimilate. The C is actually manufactured under the bud of the rose - called a hip!! When you are sick your body is in a stressed state and will therefore use up more vitamin C, as it is a water soluble vitamin. We need to replenish our bodies on a daily basis with vitamin C rich foods, more so when we are ill to aid in accelerated healing. That makes Rosehips tea not only a really yummy, totally natural preservative and chemical free drink but also really good for you too!! .... :0)CHEERS
