Answer:
Stop drinking! That is the best way.

Sleep as late as possible and eat greesy food when you wake up. Even if you feel like eating is the last thing you want to, its the only thing that helps me.

hair of the dog that bit youeat healthy take acouple aspirin and don't drink that much
if you absolutely, positively have to drink alcohol -drink one glass of water with each glass or shot of booze.
an advisor at one of my colleges told me that potato's help absorb alcohol within the stomach. I dont know if its before or after drinking. But its worth a shot.also, def. LOTS of water/fluids. keeping yourself hydrated is a MUST!
tomato juice and raw eggs will help you on this matter. ?
A quart of water with a little fruit juice mixed in and a pinch of salt - a couple of calcium antiacid tablets (tums) and a charcoal capsule if you have it.
LOTS OF WATER !
wat i always do is to have a warm beer in the morning and it works
Tylenol,n tomato juice
Drink lots of water and lots of REST!
Lots of water!!
Hangovers are multi-causal. Ethanol has a dehydrating effect (by causing increased urine production, such substances are known as diuretics), which causes headaches, dry mouth, and lethargy. Dehydration causes the brain to shrink away from the skull slightly. This can be mitigated by drinking water after consumption of alcohol. Alcohol's impact on the stomach lining can account for nausea. Due to the increased NADH production during metabolism of ethanol by the enzymes alcohol dehydrogenase and aldehyde dehydrogenase, excess NADH can build up and slow down gluconeogenesis in the liver, thus causing hypoglycemia.
Orange juice or any citrus juice. Hangovers generally occur due to dehydration and loss of vitamin C. But the queasy stomach won't like the OJ much, so be warned.
If you are planning on drinking, keep yourself hydrated well on the days leading up to and the day you will be drinking heavily. Then after you are done drinking for the night, get alot of sleep. Don't get up until you are sure every ounce of tiredness is out of your body. Then, when you do get up, drink a couple glasses of water. If you are able to eat, make sure you do that too. Don't ingest any drugs (coffee, tylenol, etc.) because that will increase the toxicity in your body and will make you feel sicker or make your hangover last longer in the longrun. If you are like me, when you wake up, things will probably want to come out of every orifice of your body. So if you feel like you may need to, go try and throw up and take a crap, and then try and do the drinking water and eating, etc. Also, even if you have slept well, if you can, take it easy for the first 2-3 hours of your day. Don't go out in the hot sun, just lay on your couch and watch tv for a while. When you get up from the couch you will find that you will be hardly hung over at all.Anyways... this is what works for me. Good luck.Oh yeah, and after reading over the other answers, the tums and charcoal tablet are a very good idea also, as well as the inclusion of a pinch of salt in the water you drink. The antacids help you feel less nauseas by reducing irritation of the stomach lining (calcium helps neutralize the acid) and the charcoal absorbs any alcohol remaining in your stomach to keep you from being queasy the next day. The salt is good in with the water because your body retains the water better when there is salt in it (thats why gatorade includes "electrolytes" in it's formula, electrolytes are various types of salts). The only one of these three things I have not tested out and can verify is the charcoal one, but charcoal is the main ingredient in all anti-hangover pills so I'd say it has a pretty good shot of doing some good... hope that helped... I'll shut up now.
First of all you have to find out what causes the hangover. When you take 1 oz 48% alcohol, you loose through the urine ten oz water, the alcohol remains in the blood and is not eliminated by the kidneys but is slowly evaporated by breathing while you sleep a part as alcohol and part as acetic aldehyde. When you wake up in the morning most of the alcohol you took in will be evaporated and the result is that you are dehydrated, your blood is thicker than normal and your brain doesn't receive enough amount of oxygen, you need to take salts to fix the water and a certain amount of protein like a soup of meat or poultry will work well in your body.
There are some home treatments for hangover. They are:* Prepare a lemon tea. Do not add sugar to it. It will detoxify the unwanted material inside the stomach, assimilate alcohol and gives fast relief from hangover. * Eat an apple in an empty stomach. This will give fast relief from hanover. * Mash 1-2 banana and mix in milk. Add a tablespoon of honey to it. This fruit shake is also beneficial during hangover* You can also give 3-5 leaves of peppermint to the patient suffering from hangover. This can also be given in form of tea by simply boiling 5-10 leaves in a glass of waterHope above information will help you!!
My ritual is burnt toast, a multi-vitamin and lots of water before bed. Here's why:- The carbon from the burnt outside acts as a filter to help sweep away toxins. (They use the same idea for victims of alcohol poisoning in the emergency room, except those people get a much more potent carbon mixture pumped into their stomachs.) The bread also helps absorb some of the alcohol.- The multi-vitamin helps replenish vitamins A, B6, C, potassium, and others which are lost during alcohol metabolism.- The large quantity of water, necessary to down the vitamin and get the burnt taste out of your mouth anyway, helps with the dehydration. You actually fight the three major causes of a hangover with this: acetaldehyde (the toxic by-product of alcohol metabolism), dehydration and nutrient depletion.Cheers!
